Building Great Businesses for the Barrington Region
Through the commitment and involvement of its over 900 Members, the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce by facilitating collaboration among the unique communities since 1969, is an organization of businesses committed to advocating and supporting a vibrant economy for the Barrington region.
The Chamber harnesses the tremendous potential of private enterprise, and enables its members to accomplish collectively what no one entity could do individually. Its primary function is serving as an agent of change, taking the lead in providing leadership for the benefit of the business community by promoting economic opportunities, advocating the interests of business, providing Members with education and resources, and encouraging mutual support.
The mission of the Chamber is "to serve, represent, and advocate for the greater Barrington Area business communities in ways that enhance the vibrancy of our business environment, our quality of life, and the future well-being of our unique communities". This is accomplished on behalf of the business community, particularly Chamber members, by providing direct services by representing members on matters that affect them, and by directing member resources toward community issues that are of importance.

The BACC is committed to:
- Representing and voicing the business point of view on important legislative and community issues affecting the business climate.
- Expanding, attracting, retaining businesses to serve the needs of the Barrington area.
- Provide leadership for business community to improve community services and quality of life.
- Conducting membership services designed to benefit Barrington businesses and expand member involvement in Chamber.
